1. Why does my child need to be seen if they have their own medical providers?
We can still provide services for your child even if they have a primary care giver.
It is also important for your child to have access to the health center in case of an emergency.
2. Why do I need to fill out a consent form?
Consent forms must be completely filled out in order for the child to be seen at the health center.
3. If I have insurance will this affect my benefits?
Being seen at the health center has no affect on your benefits or ability to see your primary care giver.
The health center does ask that your provide your insurance information.
4. If I don’t have insurance can my child be seen?
OF COURSE! All students regardless of their, insurance status have access to our services.
5. How can I make and appointment?
Appointments with our receptionist on the 5th floor of this building or by calling the health center:

Appointments are available at the following times:
Medical and Mental Health
Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:00pm
Dental
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 11:30am – 7:00pm
Wednesday, Friday 9:00am – 4:00 pm
6. Do I have to be present at the time of the appointment?
During school hours parents do not have to be present as long as they have already provided us with parental consent.
7. How will I know what was done at the appointment?
We make it a priority to communicate to parents either via phone or reports sent home with the student.
